About the company
Kumba Iron Ore is one of the world's largest iron ore producers, majority-owned by Anglo American plc. It operates the Sishen and Kolomela mines in South Africa's Northern Cape province, exporting high-grade iron ore predominantly to Asian steel mills. Kumba is a major contributor to South Africa's export earnings.
