ČEZ Group is the dominant Czech energy conglomerate, engaged in electricity generation (including nuclear), distribution, and supply across the Czech Republic and Central Europe. Founded in 1992, it is majority-owned (approximately 70%) by the Czech state via the Ministry of Finance. It is the largest company by market capitalisation on the Prague Stock Exchange.
