PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk generates and sells electricity from geothermal and wind resources through subsidiaries including the Star Energy Geothermal group, which operates fields at Wayang Windu, Darajat, and Salak. A subsidiary of PT Barito Pacific Tbk controlled by Prajogo Pangestu, it briefly became the largest-cap company on the IDX in early 2025 before BBCA reclaimed that position. The company's geothermal assets supply power to the national grid under long-term power purchase agreements.
