Shaanxi Coal Industry is one of China's largest coal mining companies, engaged in the extraction, processing, and sale of thermal and coking coal from mines primarily in Shaanxi Province. The company also operates coal chemical plants and mine-mouth power generation facilities, and is among the lowest-cost coal producers in China. It is controlled by Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group, a provincial government state-owned enterprise.
