About the company
Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) is South Korea's sole domestic aircraft manufacturer, producing trainer jets (T-50 Golden Eagle), military helicopters (Surion), light attack aircraft (FA-50), and fuselage components for Boeing commercial aircraft. The company serves the Republic of Korea Air Force and Army as well as export customers in Iraq, the Philippines, Malaysia, and other markets. KAI is majority state-owned and plays a central role in South Korea's defense industrial base.
