Industries Qatar Q.P.S.C. is a 51%-subsidiary of QatarEnergy that operates in the petrochemical, fertilizer, and steel segments. Its petrochemicals arm produces ethylene, polyethylene, MTBE, and methanol; its fertilizers arm produces urea and ammonia; and its steel arm produces pellets, bars, and billets. Incorporated in 1969 and headquartered in Doha, it is one of the largest industrial companies in the Middle East by market capitalization.
