Electricity Generating Public Company (EGCO) was Thailand's first privately owned independent power producer, supplying electricity and steam to the national grid and industrial customers under long-term power purchase agreements. EGCO holds a diversified portfolio of natural gas, coal, biomass, solar, and wind power plants in Thailand and internationally. EGAT and PTTEP are among its significant shareholders.
