PetroChina is China's largest oil and gas producer and one of Asia's largest energy companies, engaged in exploration, production, refining, distribution, and marketing of petroleum and natural gas. It is a subsidiary of the state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). PetroChina is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and the New York Stock Exchange.
