About the company
Woori Financial Group is one of South Korea's four major banking conglomerates, with Woori Bank as its core subsidiary providing retail, corporate, and investment banking services. The group underwent a privatisation process after the government acquired it during the 1997–98 Asian financial crisis. Woori has been expanding its overseas banking network, particularly in Southeast Asia.
