Ezz Steel is Egypt's dominant producer of long steel products, including reinforcing bars and sections used in construction, and accounts for the large majority of Egypt's domestic steel output. The company operates electric arc furnace and direct-reduced iron plants and exports to regional markets. It is a bellwether for Egypt's construction and infrastructure spending cycle.
