Colbún is one of Chile's largest electricity generation companies, with a diversified portfolio of hydroelectric, thermal, solar, and wind plants. It is controlled by the Matte Group and supplies power to both the regulated residential market and large industrial clients under long-term contracts. The company has been expanding its renewable energy capacity to meet Chile's decarbonisation targets.
