LATAM Airlines Group is the largest airline group in Latin America by passengers, operating an extensive network across South America and intercontinental routes to North America, Europe, and Oceania. The group emerged from a merger of LAN (Chile) and TAM (Brazil) in 2012 and completed a Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring in 2022. It is headquartered in Santiago and has equity participation from Delta Air Lines and Qatar Airways.
