Jordan Electric Power Company is the primary electricity distribution company in the greater Amman region, serving the largest share of Jordan's electricity consumers. It operates under a concession from the Jordanian government and is regulated by the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission. The company is listed on the ASE and is partly state-owned through the National Electric Power Company.
