Krka is Slovenia's largest company by market capitalisation and one of Europe's leading generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, founded in 1954 and headquartered in Novo Mesto. The company develops, manufactures, and markets prescription drugs, over-the-counter products, and veterinary medicines across over 70 countries, with particularly strong positions in Central and Eastern Europe and Russia. In 2024 the group reported revenues of approximately €1.9 billion and its highest-ever operating profit of €408 million.
