SMB is the principal bitumen producer and distributor in West Africa, producing bitumen from its refinery at Vridi, Abidjan. It supplies bitumen for road construction and maintenance to governments and private contractors across the WAEMU region. SMB's revenues are closely correlated with public infrastructure spending in West Africa.
