ONATEL is Burkina Faso's national telecommunications operator, providing fixed-line, mobile (under the Telmob brand), and internet services across the country. It is majority state-owned and is one of only a handful of Burkina Faso-domiciled companies listed on the BRVM regional exchange. The telecoms sector represents a key component of formal market activity in Burkina Faso.
