Bank Negara Indonesia is one of Indonesia's four major state-owned banks, established in 1946 as the country's first state bank. It provides commercial, retail, and corporate banking services and has a significant international network. The Indonesian government holds the majority stake through the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises.
