About the company
Formosa Petrochemical is Taiwan's only private-sector crude oil refinery, operating the Mailiao refinery—one of the largest refinery complexes in Asia—which processes crude oil into fuel products, naphtha, and petrochemical feedstocks. The company is the core upstream energy arm of the Formosa Plastics Group. It is headquartered in Taipei.
