Manila Electric Company (Meralco) is the largest electricity distribution utility in the Philippines, serving Metro Manila and surrounding provinces. It distributes power to residential, commercial, and industrial customers representing a significant portion of the country's total electricity consumption. Meralco is majority-owned by the Lopez and MVP Groups.
