Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) is the largest company on the Bahrain Bourse by market capitalisation and is widely cited as the world's largest single-site aluminium smelter outside China. The company was incorporated in 1968 and produced its first aluminium in 1971, subsequently expanding through multiple reduction line additions. Alba is dually listed on the Bahrain Bourse and the London Stock Exchange.
