NTPC is India's largest power utility company and is majority-owned by the Government of India, generating electricity from coal, gas, hydro, and solar energy through a large portfolio of plants across the country. It is expanding rapidly into renewable energy in line with India's energy transition targets. NTPC supplies power to state electricity boards and bulk consumers across India.
