About the company
Hindustan Zinc is India's only and the world's second-largest integrated zinc-lead mining and smelting company, operating large mines and smelters primarily in Rajasthan. It is a subsidiary of Vedanta Limited and also a significant producer of silver as a by-product. The Government of India retains a residual stake of approximately 29.5% alongside the Vedanta Group.
