Vista Energy is an upstream oil and gas exploration and production company focused primarily on the Vaca Muerta shale play in Argentina's Neuquina basin, one of the world's most prolific unconventional hydrocarbon formations. Incorporated in Mexico and cross-listed on the BMV and NYSE, it has grown rapidly through organic drilling and acquisitions, including a major asset purchase in 2025. The company also holds exploration assets in Mexico.
