Exxaro Resources is one of South Africa's largest coal producers, supplying thermal coal to Eskom for electricity generation and exporting through the Richards Bay Coal Terminal. The company also has interests in iron ore mining and has been diversifying into renewable energy through its Cennergi subsidiary, which develops and operates wind and solar projects. Exxaro is a significant Black-owned mining company and has committed to a strategic transition toward sustainable energy businesses.
