Abu Qir Fertilizers is one of Egypt's largest producers of nitrogen fertilizers, including urea, ammonium nitrate, and nitric acid, operating a major production complex near Alexandria. The company exports a substantial proportion of its output to Europe, Asia, and other international markets. It is majority-owned by the Egyptian state through EKHC.
