Sociedad Comercial del Plata is a diversified Argentine holding company with interests in energy (Compañía General de Combustibles, a natural gas distributor and oil producer), telecommunications, entertainment, agribusiness, and real estate. The group has over 9,800 shareholders across 14 countries and traces its history to the early twentieth century. It is one of the older publicly listed conglomerates on BYMA.
