About the company
Hidroelectrica is Romania's largest electricity producer, operating a portfolio of hydroelectric power plants with an installed capacity of approximately 6,400 MW across Romania's river systems. It listed on the BVB in July 2023 in one of the largest IPOs in Central and Eastern Europe. The Romanian state retains a majority stake through Fondul Proprietatea and direct ownership.
