About the company
Romgaz is Romania's largest natural gas producer and underground storage operator, with a dominant position in domestic gas exploration and production. The company is majority state-owned and supplies gas to industrial and residential consumers, power generators, and the distribution network. Romgaz completed the acquisition of ExxonMobil's stake in the offshore Neptun Deep Black Sea gas project, which is expected to become a major future production asset.
