Latvijas Gāze is the principal natural gas distribution company in Latvia, responsible for the import, storage, transmission, and distribution of natural gas to industrial and household customers. The company operates Latvia's main underground gas storage facility in Inčukalns, which is one of the largest in Northern Europe. Following EU energy market liberalisation, the company restructured its operations to separate regulated and commercial activities.
