Industrias Peñoles is a major Mexican mining conglomerate and one of the world's largest producers of refined silver, bismuth, sodium sulfate, and metallic zinc. The company operates a vertically integrated mining, smelting, and refining business, and owns the Met-Mex Peñoles metallurgical complex in Torreón. It is controlled by the Baillères family through Grupo BAL.
