Anglo American Platinum is the world's largest primary producer of platinum group metals (PGMs), accounting for approximately 35–40% of global primary platinum supply. The company operates mines, smelters, and refineries primarily in South Africa's Bushveld Igneous Complex. It is a subsidiary of Anglo American plc and produces platinum, palladium, rhodium, and associated metals.
