Sasol is an integrated energy and chemicals company that pioneered coal-to-liquids (CTL) and gas-to-liquids (GTL) technology. It operates the world's only commercial coal-to-liquids facility at Secunda, South Africa, and has a major chemical operations business in the United States. Sasol is a significant producer of liquid fuels, chemicals, and electricity in South Africa.
