About the company
Exxaro Resources is one of South Africa's largest coal producers, supplying coal to Eskom (South Africa's state power utility) and exporting thermal and coking coal. Headquartered in Pretoria, the company is majority black-owned and holds a 50% stake in the Sishen Iron Ore Company (SIOC) via a profit-sharing arrangement with Kumba. Exxaro is pursuing a strategic transition toward renewable energy and minerals for the energy transition.
