Safaricom is Kenya's dominant mobile network operator and the largest company on the NSE by market capitalisation, accounting for approximately one-third of total bourse value. It operates the M-PESA mobile money platform, one of the world's most widely adopted digital payment systems with hundreds of millions of transactions processed annually. The company also provides voice, data, and enterprise services and has expanded M-PESA operations into Ethiopia.
