Banca Transilvania is the largest bank in Romania by assets and market share, serving retail, SME, and corporate clients. Founded in Cluj-Napoca in 1993, it has grown through organic expansion and acquisitions including Volksbank Romania and Bancpost. The bank is a constituent of the BET blue-chip index and is listed on the main market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
