Romgaz is Romania's largest natural gas producer and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. The state-controlled company is engaged in the exploration, production, storage, and supply of natural gas. It acquired a 50% stake in the Neptun Deep offshore Black Sea gas project in partnership with OMV Petrom.
