Transgaz is Romania's national natural gas transmission system operator, managing the high-pressure gas pipeline network across Romania. The company is majority owned by the Romanian state and plays a key role in regional energy transit infrastructure. It is also involved in the BRUA gas pipeline project connecting Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and Austria.
