OQ Exploration and Production (OQEP) is the upstream oil and gas subsidiary of OQ Group (formerly Oman Oil Company), focused on the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas within Oman and internationally. It was listed on the MSX and has consistently ranked among the highest-traded securities by value. The company plays a central role in Oman's hydrocarbon production base.
