Volcan is one of Peru's leading polymetallic mining companies, with operations in the central highlands producing zinc, lead, silver, and copper. It is majority-owned by Glencore following the Swiss commodity giant's acquisition of a controlling stake. Its flagship operations are in the Cerro de Pasco and Junín regions.
