Impala Platinum Holdings is one of the world's largest producers of platinum group metals, with mining and refining operations in South Africa, Zimbabwe (Mimosa and Zimplats), and Canada. The company's Rustenburg operations in South Africa's Bushveld Complex are among the world's richest PGM deposits. Implats has pursued a strategy of geographic diversification to reduce South African operational and regulatory risk.
