Reinet Investments is a Luxembourg-based investment holding company, with a secondary listing on the JSE, controlled by Johann Rupert. Its primary asset is a substantial stake in British American Tobacco (BAT), supplemented by private equity investments globally. Reinet was spun off from Richemont in 2008 as part of a corporate restructuring.
