Netcare is one of South Africa's largest private healthcare groups by number of beds, operating acute care hospitals, day clinics, pharmacies, and emergency medical services. The group sold its UK operations (BMI Healthcare) in 2019 to refocus on its core South African market. Netcare operates a network of over 50 hospitals and approximately 10,000 beds.
