About the company
Kumba Iron Ore is South Africa's largest iron ore producer and a subsidiary of Anglo American plc. Its primary operations are the Sishen and Kolomela mines in the Northern Cape, which supply high-quality iron ore to steel mills in Asia and Europe. The majority of Kumba's output is exported via the Saldanha Bay iron ore terminal.
