NCBA Group was formed by the 2019 merger of NIC Bank and Commercial Bank of Africa, creating one of Kenya's largest banking entities. The group operates retail, corporate, and digital banking services, including the M-Shwari and Loop digital lending platforms in partnership with Safaricom. NCBA has subsidiary operations in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Côte d'Ivoire.
