Kenya Re is the largest reinsurance company in East and Central Africa and one of the most active reinsurers in sub-Saharan Africa. The corporation provides life and non-life reinsurance services and operates across over 50 African countries. It is majority owned by the Kenyan government and consistently among the most actively traded stocks on the NSE by volume.
