Hidroelectrica is Romania's largest electricity producer, operating an extensive portfolio of hydroelectric power plants across the country. It was listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange in July 2023 via the largest IPO in Romanian history. The company supplies a significant share of Romania's domestic electricity needs and exports power to regional markets.
