Romgaz is Romania's largest natural gas producer and one of the country's strategic state-controlled energy companies. It is involved in exploration, production, storage, and sale of natural gas, as well as power generation. Romgaz completed the acquisition of ExxonMobil's stake in the Neptun Deep offshore Black Sea gas project in 2022.
