Transelectrica is the operator and administrator of Romania's national electricity transmission and system operator grid. The state-owned company manages over 8,800 km of high-voltage transmission lines and ensures the stability and security of the national power system. It is subject to regulation by the Romanian National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE).
