About the company
Omifco is a joint venture between Oman Oil Company, the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO), and Krishak Bharati Cooperative (KRIBHCO), producing urea and ammonia from natural gas feedstock at a facility in Sur, Oman. It listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange in July 2025, becoming immediately one of the top five companies by market capitalisation. The company exports the majority of its fertiliser production to India and other international markets.
