Backus is Peru's dominant beer producer and a subsidiary of AB InBev, owning brands including Cristal, Pilsen Callao, and Cusqueña. The company controls the vast majority of Peru's formal beer market and also distributes non-alcoholic beverages. Its shares are listed on the BVL as investment shares (acciones de inversión).
